08 May Chic and retro jewellery From Paris, France
In her workshop-boutique in the Marais area in Paris, Marie-Hélène Spitzer creates her chic retro jewellery, and has grown her brand LA2L since 2010. Her training as interior designer at the famous Olivier de Serres (school of arts and design) gave her a taste for ‘small architecture’.
In a bohemian, chic and retro spirit, she likes to mix materials giving her handmade jewellery something unique and enchanting. Combining romantic inspiration with art deco stylisation, each collection shows to her eager customers a new facet of her delicate world.
Among its various collections, Tiffany offers a set of jewels worthy of Holly Golightly, a perfect balance between classical sobriety and constructivist geometry: bracelets and earrings where the “pearl”, red, black, white or gold, is enhanced with gold-plated geometric structures. As for Sacha, it proposes instead a series of jewels-fetishes where the amatory anatomy (the eye, the mouth, the hand) evokes a kind of surrealist and pop eroticism.
If you are passing through Paris, pay Marie-Hélène a visit at 18 rue Commines in the 3rd arrondissement. She will be happy to show you her latest creations. You will not be disappointed.
